The Institutional Biotech Hub guide and support wet lab activities of B.Sc (Botany,Zoology and Chemistry) courses and also extend support of knowledge and facilities to students. Entrepreneurship training program on Aromatic oil extraction, as well as development of mini herbal garden at the college campus of Cymbopogon citratus for green tea (CC tea) production has been organized in collaboration with FFDC project for MSME Technology Centre Imphal. Training program on vermicomposting, mushroom cultivation as well as preparation methods of spawns  is frequently organized by Biotech-hub for accrued benefits and income/employment generation of young aspiring youths. Recently we have uncovered a potential use of Lotus floral petals as in the making of Tea, the method of tea leaf preparation from floral petals and stamens and tea making technology have been developed. The technology has been transferred to an aspiring youth start up program sponsored by Govt. of Manipur.
